On October 9th, the School of Management invited Professor Brandon Randolph-Seng from Texas A & M University, accompanied by Professor Xu Bing and Dr. Chen Xiaohui from Zhejiang Quantitative Economics Association. This exchange activity, hosted by the Department of Applied Economics of the School of Management, focused on issues related to low-carbon economy and management, aiming to introduce the latest research results and cutting-edge views in the low-carbon field, and inject new vitality into the low-carbon development of the school.
At the beginning of the activity, Professor Wang Dan from the Department of Applied Economics, introduced the achievements and research direction of the Institute of Shanghai University of Engineering Science in details. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the research results of the climate finance and green trade team, and reached the initial cooperation intention based on the common research interests and goals, which laid a solid foundation for the future academic cooperation and opened up a new path for their joint exploration in the low-carbon field.

He not only patiently answered students' questions about low-carbon development and climate change, but also shared his experience as the chief editor of Management Decision, teaching them how to write high-quality academic papers. Dr. Jiang Hong introduced in detail the development of the cruise industry in Shanghai and even the world and the research accumulation of the team. Professor Brandon expressed his appreciation for the school's research results in the field of cruise industry and tourism, and strongly agreed that the research in this field has broad prospects and great potential.
